So I finally got another ad in Bookbub, it was much easier before they got a bit umm picky. But I got one in for a kids book. 3rd  time that one has been in and I used all the countries they did it in.

It made just over 10,000 downloads, broke top 30 on all of Amazon(went to bed so no idea if it got higher) and that is on the 3rd try for that book. Of course I gave it for free. But the other two times I did that one for free it got over 10,000 downloads too. Not a bad bit of of PR. That is of course if even 5% of them read it. Many now just grab free books and never read them.

The perks are some reviews came in, that is always nice, good and bad. But can’t please everyone. My other books got some looks. Sold a bunch of print copies out of the blue as well, never expected that as they were for other books. Not the one I put in. Tarsier Man were the main sales for print. I guess those bug eyes work.

Also sold way more this month than I have since October, the time I quit marketing and such. So if you are thinking on using Bookbub, and can actually get in. I’d recommend it.

Have you ever used Bookbub? I’d say it is the best one out there. That is probably why they are so picky now. But I suppose that is a good thing. Nothing half cocked gets in. But of course you need a ton of reviews to get in no matter if it is good or not, which can hinder things. If you can get in though, go for it.
