The Surprising Way!

Surprise! It is question time. I’ve never done that. What? Not so? Surprising that I would lie? I guess surprises are on the fly. The next anthology is soon to be announced at the IWSG too. There is a surprise coming Wednesday for you.

Have you ever surprised yourself with your writing? For example, by trying a new genre you didn’t think you’d be comfortable in?

I’m not sure I surprise myself much. I just get an idea and go with it no matter the genre. Sometimes I mish mash genres as well. It basically comes back to the idea for me and then the words flow.

I’ve touched upon many genres and kids books too. I can rhyme on cue. As you can see with this train of thought coming to be. Now I can switch back to normal mode. I guess it is just the way my brain is wired.

If anything, at first, I was kinda surprised at how the ideas just flow and never stop. After I’ve seen many complain about writer’s block and such I thought it was just par for the course. But then it never hit. I guess no writer’s block is also how I’m wired. So now it isn’t too surprising as I’ve fallen into it quite a bit at this point. 117 books is quite the fall, huh?

Has anything surprised you along the way? Have you tried other genres?

Enjoy life, forget the strive.

You were born with lucky wiring! ~ But you back it up with persistence! 117 books ~ Wow! You like to shake things and I appreciate that! You probably have 118, 119, and 120 almost finished, so I’ll say, “Good luck with 121!” Take care, my productive friend!

haha yep, 118, 119, 120 are written and edited mostly, on chapter 10 of 121 at the moment. Lucky wiring you say, works for us.

I surprise myself all the time with things I didn’t know I could do. I guess that’s one of the neat things about life… never gets boring unless you let it. Anxious to see your newest genre!

Yep, only gets boring if you let it get that way. Never know where one may stray.
